Relationship among community consciousness, school-community partnerships, and evaluations of parent-teacher association activities

The present study examined the relationship among community consciousness, school-community partnerships recognized by parents, and evaluations of parent-teacher association (PTA) activities, including gender differences. An online survey was conducted data from 493 parents who served as PTA officers in public elementary junior high schools last three years were analyzed. number opportunities for local residents to participate school activities used an index partnership, whereas internal rewards sense burden indices evaluation activities. results indicated that participation was, generally, positively related which, turn, negatively obtained respectively.
